Learn how to safely manage, upload and edit your Minecraft server files directly from your Tick Hosting dashboard - with no extra software required. Ideal for beginners and experts alike!
In your Tick Hosting dashboard, select your server from the main list. Then, click “File Manager” in the left-side menu to access all your server files.
Navigate through folders like mods/, plugins/, config/. Use the right-click (or the “...” menu) to create, rename, or delete files and folders safely. Tick Hosting prevents accidental server-breaking deletes!
To upload a mod, plugin or world backup, click the “Upload” button and select your file (Max 250MB per upload). To download any file (like your server.properties), click it and select “Download”.
Click any .txt, .json, or config file and choose “Edit”. The built-in editor lets you change server settings (like server.properties) without any downloads—plus syntax highlighting for whole clarity!
Delete old mods, plugins, or unnecessary files with confidence—Tick Hosting prevents you from deleting vital system files by mistake. Restoration is possible via server backup (see Backup Guide).
