¶ How to install GeyserMC: Java & Bedrock Crossplay
Enable true crossplay for your Minecraft server: let Java and Bedrock Edition players join together! Quick and safe setup on Tick Hosting with GeyserMC (and optionally Floodgate).
¶ Stop Your Server
Before installing any plugin, STOP your server from the Tick Hosting panel to prevent file corruption or load issues.
¶ Upload GeyserMC Plugin (.jar)
Download GeyserMC latest .jar.
Put the file in your /plugins/ folder.
You can use:
- File Manager (in your hosting panel)
- SFTP (see SFTP Guide) with FileZilla or similar
/plugins/ folder only; always use the latest version available!
¶ Start Your Server
Go back to the hosting panel and Start your server. GeyserMC will generate its config files automatically after the first startup.
¶ Edit GeyserMC Config: Enable Bedrock Connection
Stop the server again.
Open /plugins/GeyserMC/config.yml via File Manager or SFTP.

0.0.0.0to listen on all IPs

¶ (Optional) Install Floodgate for Bedrock Auth
Download Floodgate plugin for Spigot.
Place it in the same /plugins/ folder. This lets Bedrock users join without a Mojang account.
Restart your server after upload.
¶ Troubleshooting & Common Problems
¶ 🎉 Success! Java & Bedrock Crossplay Is READY
