¶ What are Plugins?
Plugins are like apps for your Minecraft server! They add new features, commands, and functionality without changing the core game. Think of them as server-side enhancements that all players can enjoy.
Key Difference: Unlike mods, plugins only need to be installed on the server - players don't need to install anything!
¶ Server Requirements
Important: Plugins only work with specific server software. Your server must be running Paper or Spigot to use plugins.

Note: These server types use mods instead of plugins.
Need to Change Server Type? Premium users can change server software in the "Versions" section. Free users need to create a new server.
¶ Method 1: Use Our Plugin Manager (Easiest!)

¶ How to Use Plugin Manager:
- Go to your server dashboard
- Look at the sidebar and click "PLUGINS"
- Browse through the available plugins
- Click "Install" on any plugin you want
- Restart your server to activate the plugin

- Find a plugin on Modrinth or SpigotMC
- Check compatibility with your Minecraft version
- Download the .jar file to your computer
- Access File Manager (click "FILES" in sidebar)
- Navigate to "plugins" folder
- Upload the .jar file to the plugins folder
- Restart your server
- Plugin is now active!
Always Check: Minecraft version compatibility, server software requirements, and plugin dependencies before downloading!
¶ Upload Plugins to Your Server
Plugin files are .jar files that go in the "plugins" folder. The process is exactly the same as uploading mods, but to a different folder!
¶ Web Upload (Small Files)
Perfect for most plugins (under 100MB):
- Go to File Manager
- Open "plugins" folder
- Click "Upload"
- Select your .jar file
- Wait for upload
- Restart server
¶ SFTP (Large Files)
For bigger plugins or multiple files:
Use FileZilla or our web SFTP to upload directly to the plugins folder.
