Control who can join your Minecraft server by enabling a whitelist. Only approved players will be allowed to connect.
A whitelist limits access to your server. Players must be added to the approved player list before they can join.
Open your Tick Hosting panel and select your server.
From the left menu, click:
Type the following command inside your console:
whitelist on
Press Enter to run the command.
After enabling the whitelist, add players using:
whitelist add PlayerName
Example:
whitelist add Steve
Useful whitelist commands:
whitelist list
Shows all approved players
whitelist remove PlayerName
Removes a player from the whitelist
whitelist off
Disables the whitelist completely
Make sure to add yourself to the whitelist before enabling it. Otherwise, you may accidentally lock yourself out of your own server.
Your server is now protected and only approved players can join. This is a great way to keep private servers secure and prevent unwanted visitors.
